Jim earned a Bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Princeton University and a Master’s degree in English literature from Villanova University.  He serves on the board of Peter’s Place, a center for grieving children and families, and of GunSenseUs, a centrist, non-partisan organization whose mission is to engage and unite gun owners and non-gun owners alike in reducing gun injury and death through advocacy, education, and community action. 


Jim lives in Devon, PA, with his wife, Cathy, who teaches in the English Department and Honors Program at Villanova University and has published two books of poems. Jim and Cathy have three grown children, Claire, Natalie, and Kevin.

He helps clients grow revenue by building awareness in a cost-effective way and teaching professionals how to bring more business into the firm. For more than a decade, Jim has served as the Chief Marketing Officer for three Am Law 200 law firms:

Prior to his career as a legal marketer, he was the vice president of global marketing for Right Management Consultants, a global leader in talent and career management workforce solutions, and he began his career as a teacher, coach, and administrator at The Shipley School in Bryn Mawr, PA.
